My name is Carissa Lotze and I specialize in Bridalwear, custom making and altering gowns, as well as occasion wear for the past 15 years. The Bridal studio is located in Geldrop and my work has always been my passion, with my experience and expertise I can advise you properly and get to work in making your wedding gown fit like a glove on your big upcoming day.

All the details about your wedding gown can be discussed in length when we meet each other in person and by listening to your ideas and wishes, I create the custom wedding gown you desire. Should you become curious in the process, you are more than welcome to give me a call to see how everything is progressing.

Have you already bought a wedding gown?
When you receive your gown, it will still need to be altered in some areas. Usually, your gown is still a little too wide, too long or maybe even a little too tight. This is where I come in to make sure that it is perfectly customized to your figure. Brides you are also welcome to contact me for all other wishes to personalize your gown to make it as unique as you are.

Make a fitting appointment.

After purchasing or ordering your gown, it is best to promptly schedule an appointment for a 1st fitting.
(this is due to the busy summer months).
The 1st fitting session is at least 3 months before your wedding date.
If you are pregnant, the 1st fitting session is 4 weeks before your wedding day.
All gowns should be handled with care so if possible, schedule your appointment in time.
First fitting appointment

To pin your gown as perfectly as possible, it is important that you bring all accessories with you to this fitting appointment. Such as your shoes, possibly your petticoat and bridal lingerie. This appointment takes about an hour. Due to the limited space, I would like to ask you to bring a maximum of 2 extra people. The alteration costs are from € 195, -.
If you are pregnant, the costs start at € 250,-. Additional costs will be charged for applying model changes. You can decide on changing the neckline, replacing the zipper for a lace up back with ribbon, making the skirt volume a lot less wide, adding sleeves, straps or a halter neck or possibly extra bling.
We can discuss all this during the first fitting appointment.

Second fitting appointment

At the end of the first fitting, we will make a follow-up appointment. You can then try on your gown again, to check if everything fits perfectly. Any minor changes can be solved directly in the studio. After which you can take the attire that is already completely steamed should you wish it.

Day project:
​
For brides who live further away or are pregnant, it is possible to schedule a one-day appointment. This means that you will bring your gown in the morning and you will come back later in the day to try on and pick up your gown again. This can be combined with a fun day of shopping in the area.
Bridal Costume:
​
You can also have a costume altered by me. Costs will be determined at the 1st fitting session.
